Shades of blue!

shades of blue After being gone for a while, getting back into the grove of things and unhibernating has been a trip, I am surprised I still know how to post! Lol! But finals are done, summer is finally here and I’m excited about colours and shades again…but this time it’s blue.

Blue, red and yellow and honestly my least favourite colours, but for some reason, I’ve found myself picking up blue pieces recently, maybe it’s the season change or maybe I am just getting more open minded. Let’s see how many pieces make it into my wardrobe by the end of summer.

I opted for a softer/formal look today, instead of a casual “street style” look. I paired the shirt with this blue highwaisted ribbed skirt and these amazing court shoes which were a steal at $29 ( it’s still on sale too!). The pink in my hair kind of just happened too 😊. shades of blue shades of blue image

How is blue not one of your favorite colors, I mean you did a good job with it for this outfit, mixing denim with the stripes on the skirt was brilliant at least you don’t have to worry about the patterns not complementing each other 🙂

    • It’s really not, but I’m warming up to it 😊. And you’re right about the patterns, I love textures and I love playing with little details (shoes too😉). Thank you for stopping by!
